WHO ARE WE

The Entheogenesis Australis team is a collective of people from many different backgrounds, areas of expertise, and experiences that are connected by their love of plants and the natural environment. EGA contributors volunteer their time to produce our conferences and associated projects. Entheogenesis Australis is completely funded by the people and plant power of our community and currently receives no funding from government or the public sector.

ENTHEO TV

The Entheogenesis Australis YouTube channel, Entheo TV, streams video content from past symposiums and events. The content presented cannot cover all our diverse information and material but offers an introductory pathway for exploration of knowledge of plants, fungi and ecology in contexts including research, pharmacology, botany, sustainability and culture. Some of the practices and ideas our speakers describe are embedded in cultural and religious traditions that may inform and reduce the associated risks. Research, due diligence and caution is recommended when working with medicinal plants. EGA supports an evidence-based approach towards ecologically derived ‘drug use’, research and policy development.
